At the Office of State Examiner, Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service, we are responsible for administering an effective, cost-efficient civil service system based on merit, efficiency, fitness, and length of service, consistent with the law and professional standards, for firefighters and police officers.
This is a professional position of the Office of State Examiner, Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service.

This position will conduct job analyses of various positions within the fire and police services and requires occasional travel. This position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties involving most aspects of the agency's examining program, including the application of accepted testing methodologies. This position is responsible for developing, administering, and scoring selection procedures resulting in the establishment of eligibility of applicants for appointment to competitive and promotional positions within fire and police departments statewide.
This person could potentially travel in a state-owned vehicle one to two days per week and occasionally overnight within the State of Louisiana.

HR CONSULTANT A - $19.30/hour
HR CONSULTANT B - $20.65/hour
HR CONSULTANT C - $22.82/hour
