POSITION SUMMARY
Provides administrative HR support, lobby support and data entry.
SALARY RANGE
$24.75
HOURS
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
• Responsible for daily administrative tasks of the human resources department including filing,
faxing, copying, scanning, and organizing departmental files.
• Gather, organize and file paperwork for employees records.
• Assist with general human resources clerical duties, such as creating personnel files and
processing applications.
• Maintain human resources employee files and documentation, completing data entry tasks and
answering phone calls and emails.
• Prepare employee files for audits and pull necessary forms.
• Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents, including applicant/employee files, status
change forms/personnel action forms for completeness, accuracy, and submission standards.
• Proofread materials for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation..
• Process employment verifications
• Process weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist in administering employees benefit program and activities.
• Schedule meetings, sort/distribute mail, and maintain departmental files.
• Maintain department supplies and process invoice for payment.
• Support the recruitment process.
• Maintain DocuHR files to date.
• Operate a variety of office tools, including computers, specialized software, photocopiers, fax
machines, and printers.
• Understand and implement oral and written instructions.
• Communicate updates to superiors orally and in writing.
• Answer routine question, distribute and explain HR forms to employees.
• Maintain the HR front desk/lobby and assist visitors and employees as needed.
• Perform any other task or function as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or college preferred.
• Excel is plus - running reports, finding reports.
• Tech Savvy: Computer Skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional phone etiquette skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively work independently and as a team.
