About the Job
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works under general supervision to partner with leaders and employees across various divisions, developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with business objectives. The HRBP serves as a strategic partner, collaborating with division leaders to proactively address employee life cycle, performance management, and employee relations. The role focuses on enhancing the employee experience through change management, organizational development, workforce planning, talent growth, and coaching, while fostering a positive, productive work culture. The HRBP will be an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and will model the organization’s culture.

- $75,000 - $85,779 per year
Job Duties
- Act as a strategic partner to division leaders, providing HR expertise and influencing decision-making while ensuring effective communication and accessibility for HR-related inquiries.
- Identify operational challenges and risks, offering proactive solutions to meet divisional goals and support change management initiatives, including reorganizations.
- Provide guidance and support to management on performance management, conflict resolution, and the performance review process, ensuring accountability for timely completion.
- Address employee relations issues, including complaints, harassment, and civil rights concerns, offering coaching to resolve issues and ensuring consistency in corrective actions.
- Regularly provide in-person support to divisions for investigations, mediations, and terminations, handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Recruitment, People Operations, Payroll, and Benefits to address employee needs and support People & Culture initiatives.
- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Affirmative Action plans.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with leadership and employees.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using HR data to inform decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities
