We are a growing food and beverage manufacturer looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This role is integral to our success, as you'll be responsible for driving HR initiatives, managing employee relations, and implementing HR policies. You'll be responsible for overseeing the HR functions of 10 small distribution plants located throughout the North Carolina and Virginia area. You will be a key player in our mission to create a positive and productive work environment.

This role offers 2 days / week work from home flexibility, while travelling to various distribution sites 3 days / week. There may be overnight travel when needed, approximately 1-2 x per month.

Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Business Partner, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
2. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with the company's strategic objectives.
3. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to employees to drive their professional development.
4. Collaborating with other HR team members to identify and implement best practices.
5. Managing HRIS systems to ensure accurate and timely management of employee data.
6. Traveling to distribution sites throughout NC and Virginia 3 days/week and being comfortable with overnight travel 1-2 times per month.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within the finance industry.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in employee relations and policy management.
3. Proven experience conducting performance reviews.
4. Experience in a union setting and a manufacturing setting will be considered a plus.
5. Experience with UKG or related HRIS.
6. Willingness to travel overnight 1-2 times per month and work from distribution sites throughout NC and Virginia 3 days/week.
7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
9. A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
