Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Manager – Level 3, to join our Tactical Space Systems team in Dulles VA.
This position will be located in our Dulles VA facility.About Tactical Space Systems: Tactical Space Systems specializes in satellites, human spacecraft design, operation, and sustainment.
We support science, space exploration, NASA's Artemis program, and TESS discoveries.
We are an industry leader in advanced space components.Our Human Resources team is key to supporting our employees and playing a critical role in attracting, developing and retaining top talent to help achieve business objectives and strategic plans.Keys to success include:Possession of depth and breadth of knowledge across HR functions to include, talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, compensation, talent acquisition and employee relations.Strong project management experience.Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities and projects utilizing cross-functional teams and influencing with and without authority.Demonstrated skills in various organization effectiveness capabilities including and not limited to change management, talent management and group facilitation.Completing requirements in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.Specific duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:Establishing strong business relationships with client leadership teams and create effective partnerships across HR and centers of excellence (COE’s).Proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and developing solutions in partnership with HR business partners, leaders, and COEs.Providing business insight through data analytics, research and benchmarking to inform and recommend solutions to enable business growth.Recommending and implementing winning practices employed in the areas of talent acquisition, assessment, development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications.Analyzing and concisely presenting information to leaders and employees to enable good business decisions.Partnering with division HR Business Partners to identify, develop and execute talent strategies with impacts at the Corporate and Sector levels.Leveraging and partnering with HR colleagues in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity, equity, and inclusion and organizational effectiveness to support talent strategies.Leadership Development—focusing on strong succession planning and strategic leadership movement.
Supporting and enabling leaders to make informed decisions about talent and to hold their organizations accountable for results.If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience – OR – Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.Strong experience leading project teams and/or people.Solid track record in overall HR management to include serving as a trusted advisor and people leader.Strong communication skills as well as demonstrated experience establishing strong rapport and credibility as a forward-looking thought leader.Proven ability to influence for impact at all levels and develop an internal network to gain support for best HR practices.Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing senior executives.Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to address shifting business needs, including supporting and emerging initiatives such as proposal opportunities.Ability to navigate cultural and business sensitivities to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, performance, and employee engagement.Ability to travel, as needed.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with working proposals.Proficiency with HRIS platforms and technology (Workday, SharePoint).PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM – SCP) certification.Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
