Role: Human Resources Assistant

Location: Washington, DC; In-Office Work Schedule

Pay Rate: $24-27/Hour

Our client is seeking an Human Resources Assistant to join as an integral member of their HR team.

Job Responsibilities:

·      Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties

• Build and maintain excellent and credible relationships with manager and employees.
• Maintains confidential department files to include personnel files, workers compensation, unemployment compensation and benefits files.
• Process employment verification letters.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).

Requirements:

·      Experience in – 2-4 Years of Experience in HR/Administrative Work

·      Proficient in – Excel, Kronos, Chrome River, viaGlobal

·       Soft Skills – Attention to detail, Organized, Professional, Takes Initiative, Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

·      Education – Bachelors Degree Strongly Preferred, But Not Required
