Human Resources Assistant - Ultimate Staffing

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join a Human Resources team. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient processes, and providing exceptional service to employees. Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:
2. Assist with the daily administrative operations of the HR department.
3. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
4. Prepare and update HR documents, such as employment contracts, job descriptions, and company policies.
5. Recruitment Support:
6. Coordinate job postings and maintain job boards.
7. Assist with the screening and scheduling of interviews.
8. Track and follow up on candidate status and ensure timely communication.
9. Onboarding and Offboarding:
10. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and training coordination.
11. Manage exit processes, including collecting company property and conducting exit interviews.
12. Employee Support:
13. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing assistance or redirecting as needed.
14. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and meetings.
15. Support employee benefits enrollment and respond to benefits-related questions.
16. Data Management and Reporting:
17. Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
18. Generate HR reports as requested, such as attendance, turnover, and compliance metrics.
19. Policy Compliance:
20. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
21. Assist with audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (preferred).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
