Human Resources Administrator (Temp to Perm)
Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Work Location: 600 New Jersey Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001 (Metro Acessable, NO parking reimbursement)
Position requires min 5 years experience. Potentially Temp-to-Perm.. Workday experience with HCM and Recruiting moduels highly prefered.
Pay rate: $35/hr W2
Job Overview:
The Human Resources Administrator performs a variety of human resources activities in support of the Law Center's Department of Employment Services. Under direct supervision of Director of Law Center Human Resources this position will serve as a subject matter expert and a primary HR Contact for the Law Center. The incumbent will work closely with the Director to prioritize business operations and provide support to stakeholders. Additionally, attention to details, clear communication, training, and pristine customer service is critical to success as the HR Administrator.
This position serves as a primary contact for all human resources related inquiries for Law Center's adjuncts, faculty, staff, student and contingent workers. The Human Resources Administrator will determine and implement best practices for screening and monitoring requests, providing guidance on position evaluations, and completing full cycle HCM and Recruiting transaction activities within the Workday, Georgetown Management System (Client. Other routine responsibilities will include processing new hires, transfers, promotions, costing allocations, payments and terminations.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of three years of progressive human resource, or business administration experience (or combination of education and experience) required.

- Plan and execute the daily operations of the HR department.
- Complete all staffing changes and HR deliverables including I-9 administration.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new hires.
- Provide training to stakeholders and new employees.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of three years of progressive human resource, or business administration experience (or combination of education and experience) required.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in human capital management operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs; Gmail, calendar; and Zoom and Microsoft Teams applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in using Human Resource Information Systems.
- Ability to analyze problems and offer timely, efficient solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience presenting information in large forums to diverse populations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws.
- Technical experience with Workday; and training or facilitation experience preferred.
