About the Job
Maintains accurate and complete employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.
Assists with the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as benefits enrollment, performance management, and employee development.
Provides support to HR staff in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
Conducts new employee orientations and assists with onboarding processes.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assists with the preparation of reports and analysis of HR metrics.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assists with year-end reporting.
Supports the Vice President, Human Resources in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
Conducts research and provides analysis to support HR initiatives and projects.
Coordinates HR events, including training sessions and team-building activities.
Provides administrative support for HR-related projects and initiatives.
Updates organizational charts, seating charts, and other compliance-related reports.
Must be able to work on site in Boca Raton, FL, five days a week.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
Entry level or some exposure to Human Resources. SHRM certificate preferred. Preferred professional experience in working with senior-level executives within and outside the company, as well as customers, vendors, visitors, and others.
Passionate about growing into a career in the field of Human Resources.
0-2 years of related experience in an administrative support role; experience in Human Resources administration is a plus.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
