Job Title: Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Salary: $70k-90k

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth operations.

Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Conduct new employee orientations and assist with onboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
- Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records
- Assist with performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with HR projects as assigned

Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources

- Experience with an HRIS system

- Law Firm experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
