Human Resource Specialist.
Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Specialist at Axus Technology, you will play a vital role in our growth and success. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in full-cycle staffing, HR administration, and compliance while fostering a culture that prioritizes customer service. You will be the voice of reason, combining humility and empathy to provide HR support and guidance to our employees. This position reports directly to the general manager. All duties and activities will require accuracy and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- In support of our growth, we need an HR Specialist to manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring that we attract top talent to meet our company's needs.
- Collaborate with department managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and interview potential candidates.
- Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate a seamless onboarding process.
HR Administration:
- Oversee the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly, fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist in benefits administration, payroll processing, and other HR-related tasks.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
- Address employee relations issues and concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a culture of open communication and teamwork.
HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- the preparation and submission of EEO-1 reports and affirmative action plans as required.
- Keep abreast of HR best practices and make recommendations for compliance improvements.
Cultural Focus:
- Promote a customer-centric culture where employees are encouraged to prioritize our customers' needs.
- Lead by example, demonstrating humility and empathy in all HR interactions.
- Collaborate with company leadership to align HR practices with our customer-focused approach.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, we are looking for candidates with 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of HRMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to balance empathy and humility with sound HR decision-making.
