Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced HR Manager for one of our clients in Cofield, NC. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions, including recruitment, hiring, employee relations, performance management, safety, onboarding, and training/development. This role will also ensure compliance with employment laws, serve as a link between management and employees, & strategically aligning HR practices with overall business goals. This is a 100% onsite role reporting into the Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection – Identify staffing needs with the management team, develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
- Onboarding – Create a smooth and thorough onboarding process, to include company policies and procedures, benefits and safety. Ensure that training plans are completed.
- Performance Management – Ensure that performance reviews are completed in a timely manner, provide feedback, and address performance issues with managers. Work with management to develop and implement training plans.
- Benefits – Manage benefits enrollments, ensure that enrollment is completed in a timely manner and assist employees with benefit questions and/or escalations.
- Employee Relations – Address employee concerns, manage employee conflicts, investigate complaints, coordinate employee events and enforce company policies.
- Compliance Management – Stay updated on employment and safety laws/requirements, ensure adherence to regulations regarding hiring, termination, discrimination, and workplace safety.
- Strategic HR Planning – Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives, including workforce planning and talent acquisition.
- Payroll Administration – Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate payments to employees.
- Safety – Manage safety program to include compliance, accident investigation, inspections, training, reporting and enforcement of company safety program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or minimum of 5 years work experience as Human Resources Manager
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing safety programs
- Payroll processing experience
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and safety
- Leadership and decision-making abilities
- Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
- Detailed oriented & Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
