Role: Human Resource I9 Compliance Specialist
Type: Contract
Contract Location: Richardson, TX - Onsite from day1, local folks only
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Responsibilities:
Maintains knowledge of industry and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
Ensure all I-9s are completed timely for both Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3
Based at the Genpact Richardson location to meet with employees for review of I-9 documentation and complete physical review requirements
Audit I-9 (via a third-party on-line application) forms post physical inspection to ensure completeness and accuracy following federal requirements
Project manage I-9 compliance requirements
Be a resource for I9 questions for the business, employees, and HR partners
Discreetly handle sensitive data or reports submission to US Government or related stake holders
Qualifications:
Superb communication skills verbal, written, presentation, conflict management
Microsoft Office skills including Word (Intermediate), Excel (Advanced), Power Point (Advanced), Outlook (Basic), Visio (Basic) required
Able to respond quickly to changing requests; sound sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant HR experience
Experience managing in matrixed organization structures with virtual teams required
Experience with expatriate management, visas, work permits, Global Mobility preferred
Experience supporting transitions and projects preferred
