What it's like to be a Human Resource (HR) Generalist at Human Resource (HR) Generalist
As a Human Resources Generalist at One Community Bank, you'll be an integral part of our Talent Department, supporting daily HR functions and enhancing colleague experiences. Your role includes administering benefits through vendor portal oversight, managing FMLA and short-term disability tracking, and facilitating colleague onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. You'll foster a positive workplace atmosphere by coordinating colleague celebrations, handling separation paperwork, and maintaining open communication regarding HR policies.
Additionally, you'll manage accident and Workers Compensation reports, assist with the HRIS system, and uphold strict confidentiality with sensitive information. By contributing to training and development initiatives, you'll help align our colleagues with the bank's ambitious goals while working in a flexible and professional environment that encourages innovation and relationship building.
What matters most
To excel as a Human Resources Generalist at One Community Bank, candidates should possess a degree in HR, Business, or a related field, preferably with SHRM accreditation, coupled with a minimum of two years of HR experience. A strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity is essential, as you will handle sensitive bank information.
