About the Job
Our client is hiring an HR Generalist who will be responsible for executing key Human Resources initiatives, maintaining good relationships with employees and internal partners, and carrying out general administrative duties. Day-to-day tasks include payroll, benefits, training, performance management, and deployment of policies and practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct HR daily functions including administration, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and other HR responsibilities.
- Coordinate and manage HR administrative tasks for new hires including screening, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, and benefits enrollment.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs including Retirement and 401K, Medical/Health, Dental, Vision Benefits, Life Insurance/Disability, Holidays/Vacation
- Collect, process, verify, and maintain documentation and employee records relating to HR activities such as staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with recruiting and communications during the onboarding process for candidates and new hires, in addition to exit interviews.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in HR responsibilities and employee programs such as employment authorization, workplace policies, diversity, anti-harassment, Employee Assistance, etc.
- Communicate with employees and upper management providing support, resources, or solutions.
- Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
- Initiate, direct, and support Education, Training, Performance Management, and Organizational Development initiatives.
- Provide insight and assistance in digital transformation and process improvement for HR, recruiting, development, and administrative processes.
- Contribute to special projects and work groups to drive Foxconn's employee experience and corporate culture.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all staff as well as external partners.
Education and Ideal Experience
- A bachelor's degree requires other advanced degrees a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources. Other experience in Business Administration, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Development is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll, benefits, and other related HR procedures.
- Solid working knowledge of state and Federal labor and employment law, such as wage & hour, benefits, worker's compensation, and EEO requirements.
- Highly effective in communication and engagement with employees, new hires, hiring managers, and other stakeholders, including upper and executive-level management.
- Experience initiating new programs in areas such as Training, Learning & Development, and Performance Management.
- Awareness and impact in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Talent Acquisition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Outstanding, professional written and verbal communication skills.
