About the Job
A healthcare organization in New York City is actively seeking a team-oriented and self-motivated Human Resources Generalist to join their staff. In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will partner with management and other members of the HR team to ensure delivery of quality human resources programs and services.
Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Generalist will:
- Serve as the point of contact for management and employees regarding benefits and leave of absence questions
- Coordinate leave requests and claims administration
- Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary worksheets and warning letters
- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Maintain digital files for employees and their documents
- Support managers in taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
- Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary worksheets, and warning letters
- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Healthcare setting
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Highly organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
