We are seeking a Human Resources professional to join our team in the role of HR Generalist to lead the recruitment process to ensure an ongoing source of key talent for the organization and in collaboration with HR department leader assist with various human resources programs. This position will be a key contributor to delivering value to the organization as a whole and will be responsible for a wide range of HR administration, recruitment, employee benefits and employee relations. The goal of this position is ensure the HR department operations are seamless and effective.
Position Functions:
Talent Acquisition
- Create and post open positions internally and within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process, manage all communication with candidates and coordinate interview schedules
- Identify talent through various recruitment channels and manage relationships with recruitment vendors
- Lead recruitment efforts for a wide range of positions
- Manage applicant statuses through the ATS. Utilize standard emails to timely notify applicants of their status
- Conduct phone interviews. Participate in video and/or in-person interviews
- Create and extend employment offers
Human Resources Administration
- Updates and approves employee changes in human resource information systems (HRIS)
- Manages orientation and onboarding programs; creates and delivers training and other presentations as appropriate
- Supports training and development employee performance management program
- Contributes to and reviews Employee handbook and HR guidelines and programs
- Manages the posting of state and federal posters both virtually and at physical Bank locations
- Completes the VETS 4212, AAP, and EEO-1 annual reporting
- Manages the contracting, data collection and submission, and initial report review for the annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) with an outside vendor
- Provides continuous improvement of HR processes
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, administration, or related field complemented with three-five years of human resources generalist experience demonstrating a working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including employee relations, recruitment and selection and HR administration.
- 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems
- Understanding of HR practices and employment law
