About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled, results driven, focused and experienced HR Generalist to join our Real Alloy- Loudon, TN Team. As a business partner to the plant leadership team, you'll help drive a positive employee culture. Our ideal candidate for this position will be a talented **HR Generalist **with knowledge of Human Resources area including the rules & regulations for state and federal employment laws. You will be responsible for processing and maintaining all employee related records, recruiting employees, administering payroll for hourly paid employees, and day-to-day administration of HR related activities. You will also provide administrative support in the other departments as needed such as Accounting and Purchasing.
- Provide support to Regional HR Manager with performance management, employee engagement, coaching and developing, succession planning, workforce planning and employee relations.
- Process Hourly Payroll.
- Interact with plant employees on the production floor.
- Complete new-hire process including requisitions, recruiting, and on-boarding processes.
- Maintain HR related training documents.
- Provide necessary training
- Provide excellent communication skills
- Compile and analyze statistical reports concerning key HR metrics (i.e., recruitment and EEO, headcount, and turnover) and advise Human Resources Management & Plant Management on areas of concern
- Provide Accounts Payable support by completing data entry in oracle and matching up metals & non-metals invoices.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a generalist role with a strong background in recruiting; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- A high school degree or an associate degree.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Proven ability to function successfully with minimal supervision.
- Very strong computer skills and analytical skills required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. Experience with Dimensions preferred.
