HR Generalist
Position Summary:
We are seeking an HR Generalist who is eager to develop their skills and gradually assume leadership responsibilities within the HR department. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, a desire to learn, and the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management. You will support HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and assist with talent management while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position initially 4 days a week, with one day working remote for 3-6 months, then transition to hybrid. CareGuide is based in the Design District of Dallas, Texas.

- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Lead employee onboarding and orientation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best practices.
- Support administrative HR tasks, including maintaining employee records.
Support:
- Employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment and benefits-related inquiries.
- Provide support on employee relations issues, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Plan team-building activities, recognition programs, and other engagement efforts to foster a strong company culture.
- Performance management processes, including annual cycle and compensation reviews.
- Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and other HR-related documentation.
- Payroll processingensures accurate timekeeping, expense reimbursements, and payroll deductions.
- Implementation of HR policies and documents.

Qualifications:
- Min 3 years of experience in an HR role with significant experience in employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation and/or training preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and performance management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS system not required but a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
