Main Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems and policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for staff and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, injuries, and safety training programs.
- Assist in investigating incidents and accidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and evaluate HSE performance.
- Collaborate with operational teams to promote a safety-first culture.
- Prepare reports on HSE performance and recommend improvements.
- May Travel offshore twice out of the year
Requirements
- Experienced with OSHA standards 1926 and 1910
- Degree/Experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE management software.
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) or equivalent qualification preferred.
