Overview:

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Lead Research Assistant/Research Associate, recruits project participants and administer structured and/or semi-structured questionnaire survey materials for transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse youth and young adults of color. May be responsible for data collection, data entry, and/or study documentation. Connects with agencies serving the LGBTQ+ community. May be asked to conduct literature reviews, assists in the development of materials for proposals, presentations, and meetings.

 

Schedule:

M-F, 36 weekly hours, Flexible work schedule.

 

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

2+ years experience with transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse youth and young adults of color, and demonstrated connections with agencies serving the LGBTQ+ community required.
Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative interviewing and recruiting project participants preferred.
Experience using CASI interviewing tools preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.

 

Education/Licensure/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent. College education preferred.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
