Job Summary
The individual will provide support to users, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness by using various techniques for resolving problems. This individual will provide technical support for business specific applications. Is responsible for escalation of problems to the Director of HR Services as necessary.

Responsibilities
Application Systems Support- 40%
- Maintains optimal function of HR systems, which may include configuration, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Manages permissions and accesses to HR systems; ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Perform configuration changes, testing and implementation of internal HR initiatives using HR systems solutions
- Serves as liaison between HR, information technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Frequent interactions with customers and effective in interpersonal communication and problem solving.
- Uses a high degree of patience and problem management techniques to solve problems.
- Provide technical support for business specific applications.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all phases of business-specific technology requirements.
- Maintains own schedule of priorities.
- Ability to express technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business users.
- Produce documentation relating to implementation and performance standards and ensuring on-going currency and relevance of these standards.
Data Management and Analysis – 30%
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Maintain a high level of discretion regarding access to and reporting of sensitive data contained within the supported system(s).
- Prepares new report templates for HR staff, managers and executives to execute as needed.
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including HR system(s), employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitor's practices, and other sources.
- Manages permissions and accesses to HR systems; ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Business Analysis – 30%
- Review HR business processes to identify opportunities in which technology solutions can replace manual processes; coordinate testing and implement solutions.
- Ability to express technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business users.
- Analyzing, understanding, and documenting "current state” processes to understand the context and implications of change.
- Assembling and presenting information to management-level positions, as necessary.
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing, as necessary.
- Prepares training materials, guides, documentation and performs user training as needed.

Education and Experience
- Education: B.S. Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, or equivalent education and work experience
- Experience: A few years of diverse business experience in mortgage banking, housing program administration or other business related experience. A few years of experience in project management, information systems
- administration, business application systems, and/or organizational business systems implementation. A few years of experience in application administration.
- A few years of experience in hardware/software support in a medium sized environment, Working knowledge of SQL queries. Understanding of ITIL and ITSM methodologies
