As an HRIS Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging your technical expertise and project management skills to oversee and enhance our HR systems and processes. Reporting to the HRIS Director, you will lead various projects aimed at system upgrades, enhancements, and program administration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass gathering business process information, providing recommendations for system configuration, generating reports and analytics, and serving as the primary point of contact for HR systems-related inquiries and support.
Responsibilities:
- Apply technical knowledge of HR systems and business processes to support maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring seamless functionality and alignment with business needs.
- Utilize project management skills to plan, lead, and execute assigned projects, from gathering requirements to implementation and support, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budget.
- Gather information on business processes and system configuration/customization, providing insights and recommendations to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports and analytics to support decision-making across HR, Legal, and internal departments, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide ongoing support for report development, enhancements, and troubleshooting, ensuring system reliability and user satisfaction.
- Serve as an HR systems expert, providing guidance and direction for projects and implementations, including functionality review and quality assurance testing.
- Communicate system updates, issues, and FAQs to HR stakeholders through regular conference calls and project updates, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Maintain awareness of vendor product enhancements and roadmaps, evaluating potential impacts on current and future system functionality.
- Support HR calendar processes related to audits, succession planning, performance management, and compensation, providing guidance and support to users as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with HR stakeholders and customers, serving as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders and functional team members.
- Promote proactive approaches to address business needs using HRIS capabilities, driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing user understanding and acceptance.
- Act as an independent change agent, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Thrive on direct contact with business stakeholders, effectively managing a primarily outsourced footprint and collaborating across HR and technology functions.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and demands effectively, demonstrating strong demand management and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of enterprise wide HRIS systems and HR business processes specifically Oracle Fusion Cloud. (e.g. ADP).
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar field, with a minimum of eight (8) years of previous experience.
- Previous experience as an HR systems business analyst or HR analyst providing support to management is required.
- A master’s degree in business administration, HRIS, or HR may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Preferred: Five years of previous experience as an HR systems business analyst or HR analyst.
- Previous direct implementation experience, ideally on multiple accounts or with an organization with global experience.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with the ability to drive business capability and efficiency through technology.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects independently.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools, with the ability to organize information and develop meaningful communication materials.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Hybrid schedule, 4 days remote and 1 day onsite.
