Job Overview
We are seeking a talented HRIS Analyst to join our People team. This role will be instrumental in managing the configuration, support, and optimization of our Human Capital Management (HCM) system, UKG. Working closely with the Total Rewards Manager, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of system improvements and support day-to-day operations, ensuring our HR technology aligns with business needs and strategic goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Management and Optimization:
- Lead research, design, configuration, and testing of new system solutions and enhancements.
- Establish and enforce governance standards for HR technology systems, focusing on data accuracy, security, and seamless integration.
- Stay informed on application capabilities to support HR centers of excellence with strategic initiatives.
- Manage system updates, including testing and roll-out of future releases.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation, including user guides and technical specifications, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Generate ad-hoc reports on metrics like turnover, hiring costs, and benefits; maintain dashboards for tracking trends.
- Audit employee data and timekeeping records to ensure system integrity, making updates as needed.
Technical Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary liaison to HR system vendors to explore solutions for business needs.
- Provide day-to-day end-user support, resolving requests and issues, and troubleshooting system functionality.
- Design and implement custom reporting, analytics, and dashboards to align with HR strategy.
- Train and mentor HR team members on system use, ensuring effective adoption.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process and systems efficiencies.
- Participate in projects that intersect with HRIS functionality and core systems.
- Proactively manage foundational HR data and measure the quality of data used in analytics.
Compliance and Security:
- Set up and maintain system security protocols.
- Communicate updates, user documentation, and training materials effectively.
- Follow all Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
Culture and Teamwork:
- Create a positive and respectful work environment for team members.
- Treat all team members with respect, reflecting company values.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in HRIS and HCM configuration, oversight, and support.
- Detailed understanding of UKG architecture and security.
- Hands-on experience with UKG Dayforce, Ceridian, ADP, or similar systems in areas such as compensation, payroll, time tracking, and scheduling.
- Demonstrated functional and technical expertise in system processes and leadership.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office features.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- UKG configuration and integration expertise in at least four functional areas (e.g., Core HCM, Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Performance, Benefits).
- Advanced reporting design and experience integrating data into dashboard tools.
- Functional HR experience, with HRIS support in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
