Job Description: The Human Resources and Student Employment Coordinator provides general data entry, HR, and Talent Acquisition support for for Arcadia's Student Employees and the department of Human Resources. This position will work onsite a minimum of four days a week.

Essential Functions:
Talent Acquisition
- Responsible for coordinating the recruitment and onboarding processes for students. This includes managing employee job ads, as well as coordinating all onboarding processes and communications.
- Maintains an effective employment brand and serves as a positive influence in support of hiring that reflects the university values and strategic goals
- Preparing and adding data both via import as well as manual entry into different systems.
- Maintains data integrity of Student Data in HR Systems.
- Monitors all student talent acquisition communications and requests.
- Coordinates I-9 Administration and supports the HR Team with I-9 compliance.
- Coordinates employment status changes and off-boarding. This includes generating standard letters, communicating with employees, managers, and various departments as needed. Processes changes within HRIS and ATS as directed.
HR System & Payroll Coordination
- Provides both electronic and in-person customer service for Student Workers
- Approves all employee self-service changes within the HCM system.
- Maintains Student payroll spreadsheet & payroll supporting documentation each pay period.
- Reviews Student Timesheets.
HR Coordinator
- Acts as a back-up to the HR & Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
- Participates in department projects. Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information.
- Promotes departmental compliance by conducting research, analysis and studies to address significant issues and problems related to student employment.
Office Administration
- Participates in departmental meetings and events for both HR and Student Employment.
- Available for occasional evening and weekend programs as needed.
- Provides administrative assistance to the HR Office. Some of these functions may include: scheduling, preparing correspondence, organizing and maintaining electronic files, proofreading and editing, customer service, etc.
- Maintains records management systems and develops and improves processes for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assuring compliance.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred with at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities and excellent judgment.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base
- Can easily change gears and is adaptable to needs of HR team
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information, work collaboratively, and research information to clarify and resolve issues
- Ability to take initiative and function autonomously
- Proficiency with Google Suite or MS Office and willingness to learn new technologies as required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR or willingness to pursue certification within 1-3 years
