HR Specialist - Bright Metro

This position is based in Victoria, TX. (Relocation assistance available) 

Base Salary: $85k-$90k, plus benefits

Our client is hiring an HR Generalist who will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources Department and will manage a wide range of tasks, covering many aspects of day-to-day HR processes, including employee relations, onboarding, data entry HRIS system updates, leaves, benefits, report generation, and compliance.

• Coordinate various new hire processes such as I-9 compliance, background checks, and drug screen
• Conducting new hire orientations and onboarding processes ensuring completion of necessary documentation
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment
• Update and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring accurate processing of employee data and transactions
• Assist with FMLA claims
• Support and manage employee relations issues by facilitating conflict resolution and addressing employment-related inquiries, escalating complex matters as needed
• Facilitate and/or participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and human resources investigations
• Track and document compliance with required training, including ethics, and anti-harassment programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Conduct research and analyze data for assigned projects
• Process forms and generate documents such as offer letters, and handle DocuSign
• Ensure job descriptions are up to date through regular reviews and revisions

• Must Speak/Write Fluent Spanish and English.
