Job Description:
HR - People Support Associate
As an HR People Support Associate you will provide support in English for employees in one or more specialized functions of HR such as Policies, Benefits and Compensation etc. Research internal database files and manage requests received from Human Resource management and staff.
This is a perfect role for those that want to become HR professionals and pursue a career in HR. While the role is enjoyable it will test your skills and grow your competencies.
The HR-PS Associate is focused on:
• Informing employees about services available and assessing customer needs.
• Communicating appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
• Providing support through telephone, e-mail, answering Human Resources related queries while following company policies and procedures.
• Gathering information and resolving inquiries.
• Assisting employees and managers in the completion of appropriate forms, navigation of HR systems, processes, and policies.
• Handling highly confidential material and providing information to employees on matters pertaining to personnel forms and records.
The ideal candidate:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with specific additional fluency (written and verbal) in French (Canadian) and Spanish (for Latin America) a plus.
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills.
• Is proficient in using Windows Operating System as well as Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power-Point).
• Has ability to work towards deadlines.
• Has a positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
• Is flexible and eager to learn.
• Can work within a large organization and maintain solid relationships with the team.
• Has experience supporting pay, time away, and leave, along with general knowledge of benefits a plus.
To meet our requirements, you should:
• Have knowledge of Workday HCM Module
• Be familiar with Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.)
• Have exceptional analytical skills to research and resolve complex and sensitive issues
• Have a minimum of 3 years related experience in employee support and strong working knowledge of the conceptual dependencies between company policies, benefits, payroll and HRIS.
