About the Job
As a HR Representative for our client, you will play a pivotal role in supporting over 1,400 non-unionized employees across diverse functions including manufacturing, engineering, program management, and functional areas. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact organizational culture, business performance, and employee engagement while collaborating with management and various stakeholders across the HR network.
Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Advocacy:
Build and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees. Serve as an employee advocate and coach, providing advice and counsel on employee-related matters and organizational concerns. -
Strategic HR Initiatives:
Leverage data and insights to assess site climate and implement both short- and long-term HR strategies, partnering with HR Business Partners and local leadership to improve business performance, mitigate risks, and enhance the work environment. -
Performance Management & Compliance:
Manage performance improvement plans, grievances, claims, investigations, and terminations. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, Ethics, and Security teams to address and resolve employee-related issues. -
Coaching & Leadership Development:
Coach leaders on performance management, inclusion, change management, and other strategies to drive organizational effectiveness and improve employee engagement. -
Collaboration Across HR Network:
Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, DEI, and HR Analytics teams to develop and deploy initiatives that meet the unique needs of the site and the broader organization. -
Process Improvement:
Utilize lean manufacturing tools and methodologies to align HR practices with business needs. Continuously seek innovative ways to automate, streamline, and improve HR processes for greater efficiency. -
Project Leadership:
Lead and support special HR projects as assigned, driving process improvement and aligning HR practices with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:

Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant HR experience or 6+ years with an advanced degree in a related field. In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of relevant experience will be considered. -
Expertise in Employee Relations:
Strong experience in handling complex investigations, organizational diagnostics, and developing creative solutions to workplace challenges. -
Knowledge of Employment Laws:
In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. -
Leadership Development:
Proven experience in coaching and developing leaders across a range of functions. -
Relationship Building:
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and employees and influence key decisions at all levels of the organization.

Experience using lean manufacturing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices. -

Ability to introduce and implement new and creative solutions to HR challenges.
Education:
- Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 8+ years of prior relevant HR experience OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience OR 12+ years of relevant HR experience in the absence of a degree.
