Marathon TS is seeking an HR Recruiting Specialist to join a team responsible for onboarding, resource management, and coordination of Human Resources for a Government contract out of the Washington DC Metro Area. Ideally the candidate will be local to the area. Reporting to the office at least twice per quarter is required.

Marathon TS is seeking an HR Recruiting Specialist to join a team responsible for onboarding, resource management, and coordination of Human Resources for a Government contract out of the Washington DC Metro Area. Ideally the candidate will be local to the area. Reporting to the office at least twice per quarter is required.
Process Management:
- Develops job descriptions that define responsibilities and key competencies for roles in partnership with the Prime Contractor team.
- Develops screening questions, interview questions, and technical assessments for roles.
- Conducts 1st round screening interviews and technical assessments for candidates.
- Provides assessment of candidates to hiring manager to determine second round interviews.
- Coordinate with team member hiring for role to schedule second round interviews.
Stakeholder management:
- Acts as a trusted partner to hiring managers to identify hiring needs and key candidate profiles.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to create job descriptions and reformat role charters to accurately reflect expectations for roles.
- Provides updates to hiring managers/ staffing agencies on the status of hiring.
Employee Onboarding:
- Manages the onboarding process for all new hires (including bi-weekly 1099 onboarding) and works closely with hiring managers to ensure appropriate system and access requests are submitted.
- Develops and maintains onboarding materials for new hires.
- Helps manage onboarding process (files NDAs, schedules trainings, completes CFE paperwork requirements).
Administrative duties:
- Receives and reviews timesheets to be processed by team.
- Performs tracking of HIPPA, Cyber, CAC, and vendor access updates.
- Receives input from team to perform regular updates of SOPs.

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree human resource management, human resource hiring or related field.
- Previous work experience as an HR recruiter or a similar role in HR talent acquisition.
- Proven success recruiting for technical roles; ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
- Government Clearance (Public Trust) preferred, but not required.
- Holder of an active DHA CAC preferred, but not required.
