Primary Purpose:
The HR and Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting with administration of day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department functions and duties. The HR Assistant caries out responsibilities in the following areas: HRIS updates, recruiting, basic employee relations, scanning employee files, filing, data entry.

The HR and Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting with administration of day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department functions and duties. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Assist in recruiting including confirming interviews, orientation, onboarding process.
- Support the maintenance of employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (Kronos)
- Help employees log in and navigate HRIS (Kronos)
- Assists with employee relations, retention, training, and implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of HR forms or documents
- Performs other job related duties as necessary
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered
- Solid work history
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Data collection, data entry, and data management
- Ability to communicate well and write clear work instructions, present information to a group
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment and a self-starter, able to work successfully independently
- Ability to read, understand, and apply specifications independently
- Compliance with general company attendance standard is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check
- Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening
- Experience in clerical or office work and customer service
- Skills in database management and record keeping
- Work is typically performed under reasonably good working conditions
- Office setting within a manufacturing facility
- Day shift
- Scheduled hours may fluctuate depending upon workload
- Overtime is offered, based on business needs
