Harvard Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Outreach Team provides talent acquisition services to ~5,500 in Central Administration (CADM), working across a broad range of businesses, academic, and operational functions to advance the university’s mission by supporting the needs of the students, faculty, staff & alumni. We partner with leaders, managers, employees, and teams to attract, develop and retain talent to the organization.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will join a Talent Acquisition and Outreach team of 25, supporting hiring activity for CADM.
This is a fully benefited, full-time Harvard University position that has been funded for 6 months from start date. There is the possibility of renewal, contingent on funding, university priorities and satisfactory job performance.
Primary responsibilities include:
+ Develop and execute sourcing strategies that identify top tier talent pools in an effort to ensure timely hires and manage long-term candidate networking relationships
+ Partner with clients to provide expertise in initiating, implementing, and evaluating recruiting practices
+ Review and streamline all recruiting processes and practices
+ Analyze and use recruiting data to improve employee recruitment
+ Negotiate offers and communicate important employment information to candidates; follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruitment
+ • Develop and implement diversity programs and initiatives that support hiring goals and EEO compliance
+ Develop and implement advertising and social media recruitment strategy
+ Plan, organize, and implement outreach efforts (college recruitment, diversity recruitment etc.); represent the University at recruiting events
+ Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
+ Participate in strategic staffing meetings to understand hiring needs of leaders across the University.
+ Build relationships across the University with all levels to understand tactical and strategic needs.
+ Adhere to OFCCP and AA/EEO regulations and established Harvard policies and procedures for compliant recruiting; work with hiring managers to build a diverse, representative workforce
Additionally, the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant may participate in:
+ Executive level searches
+ FLSA Review and classification
