Overview: The LG Energy Solution-Honda joint venture has partnered with Rose International for Direct hire recruiting services for this role.
Summary:
LGES-Honda is looking for a Strategy and Planning associate that will oversee HR theme development and execution related to internal and external trends related to all pillars of the human resources division.
Responsibilities:
• Plans and strategizes a variety of human resource and labor topics
• Study, plan and propose new and revised HR policies and procedures
• Correlate and collaborate with other areas of HR and the business in creating future business planning proposals
• Manage relationships with each business unit regarding HR and labor planning
• Maintain an understanding of battery operations and data points for use in HR theme planning
• Oversee and/or conducts regular associate engagement sensing activities
• Coordinate priority HR topics with Associate Relations team or HR Leader
• Maintain In-depth knowledge of legal, compliance and industry changes and best practices
• Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to Human Resource policies, compensation, and other labor topics and reports results findings and recommendations to leaders
• Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, business and budget planning, and associate handbook updates
• Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees as needed
• Compile and analyze HR data, both internal and through external subscribed surveys, to generate reports and insights for management
• Performs routine tasks as required to support the HR function
Experience and Qualifications/skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field required
• 8+ years of professional HR administration required with experience in employee relations preferred
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred, but not required
Knowledge/skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to HR
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations
• Flexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessary
Additional requirements:
• This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic)
