About the Role
Honest Networks is looking for an HR Administrator to provide operational HR / People Operations support to our team. This role was previously handled by a 3rd party HR firm and will now be brought in-house full-time as we grow.
This role will be responsible for managing the daily operational HR tasks for the Company. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, professional, positive, and organized individual who can execute on projects as delegated by the CEO, assistant controller and department managers. This individual should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to handle confidential information with discretion, and have the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment to support the company’s departments (e.g. customer support, business development, marketing, engineering, etc.) This individual will be excited by the opportunity to dive in and own all tasks to which they are assigned. This is a full-time, mainly remote but may require working at our office in Lower Manhattan as needed.

Responsibilities
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and facilitating the onboarding process; post job openings on relevant platforms and assist in screening resumes.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks; address employee queries related to benefits and assist in the enrollment process.
- HR Documentation: Prepare HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and employment verification letters and maintain a well-organized filing system for HR documents.
- Payroll and Timekeeping: Work with our Asst. Controller on weekly payroll, including auditing of employee attendance and timekeeping systems; address attendance-related inquiries and ensure accurate payroll processing. Support finance department in ensuring payments and reimbursements are paid out and payroll runs smoothly
- Employee Relations: Handle basic employee inquiries and act as a point of contact for HR-related matters.
- Compliance and Policies: Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures as dictated by CEO; stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Training: Ensure that all employees complete required safety and other training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR operations associate, HR Administrator, Head of HR or in a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Google suite applications and HRIS/ATS software (Justworks, Workable)
- Familiarity with project management tools (Asana)

Salary
- Target starting salary of $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and skill set, plus target bonus of 5-10%
