- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of 7+ years of relevant HR experience required with strong generalist background.
- 5+ years of Tech, Engineering/semiconductor or Software industry experience preferred
- Experience working in a public company preferred.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
HR Advice & Counsel
- Coach and consult with management to understand business needs and develop solutions to drive high performance.
- Provide guidance and expertise to management on a variety of issues, such as HR best practices, new employment laws/regulations.
- Understand and provide guidance to employees and managers on company policies and programs, benefits (including 401(k)), talent acquisition and retention, compensation and stock equity (stock options, RSUs), etc.
- Source, recruit, interview, and hire employees at all levels.
- Analyze turnover trends and develop retention programs in conjunction with management objectives.
- Provide oversight for compensation, promotion, and talent management activities to ensure compliance with policies and consistency of experience across the organization.
- Manage partnerships with recruiting firms.
- Manage and drive the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage compensation, including the development and administration of bonus and commission plans.
- Assist in the processing and auditing of payroll and in auditing monthly health insurance invoices.
- Work on various personnel, compensation reports as needed.
- Knowledgeable and strong understanding on functionality of an HRIS – Paycom or other HRIS tool.
- Partner with the Senior Accountant (Finance) and other key stakeholders in Finance and IT to ensure employee data and changes are processed accurately.
- Oversee the benefits programs and manage relationship with benefits broker.
- Initiate and track Leaves of Absence following all Federal and State LOA requirements.
Performance Management/Employee Relations
- Manage and drive the development and implementation of performance and talent management programs.
- Manage annual Performance Assessment Program and provide guidance for the proper drafting of employee appraisals.
- Provide oversight for employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Work on maintaining, improving, and championing Company culture and other employee engagement initiatives.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of corporate-wide policies and programs.
- Implement internal controls and assist in SOX compliance testing.
- Ensure accuracy and update company documents as needed.
- Handle terminations and employee exits adhering to company and state regulations. Provide expertise and guidance to managers as needed on terminations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Partner with the Senior Accountant (Finance) and other key stakeholders in Finance and IT to ensure employee data and changes are processed accurately.
- Prepare compliance reports: EEO-1 Filing, Vets 100 Filing, AAP, and OSHA required documents.
- Manage and handle other duties as assigned.
