What’s the job?
+ Will develop and facilitate the implementation of a strategic plan designed to move the manufacturing plant toward world-class stature in employee engagement and human resource processes.
+ Conducts workforce planning, organizational assessments, and succession planning with leadership steering committee.
+ Identifies internal and external resources to address gaps in skills and capabilities needed for the effective and efficient operation of the plant.
+ Manages and teaches risk mitigation as it relates to employee and labor relations.
+ Direct and oversee performance management systems and processes (annual reviews, one-on-one coaching, progressive discipline, investigations).
+ Develop and implement and ensure consistent application of employee and plant policies and procedures.
+ In collaboration with leadership team, oversee communications processes and systems within the plant.
+ Lead, support, develop direct reports. Develop short- and long-range objectives, work assignments, workload balancing, and accountabilities.
+ Manages Employee Leave compliance programs, including FMLA, STD, and LTD.
+ Supports the plant preparation and coordination of internal audits, safety workouts.
What do you bring?
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field.
+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
+ 5+ years of HR Management experience required.
+ 5+ years of experience in a union setting preferred.
+ Must be able to flex schedule to support a 24/7 operation.
Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $99,900 to $154,800 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $112,887 to $174,924.
