Our client is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Manufacturing plant located in in Arkansas. This position is responsible for supporting employees and managers, implementing HR policies and procedures, leading the employee relations team, and making recommendations that promote a positive work environment. Client is willing to relocate the right candidate. This is in the office 5 days a week role.
Key Responsibilities:
- The HR Manager develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Responsible for leading the employee relations for the manufacturing team
- Conducts employee relations counseling
- Participates in management meetings and attends other meetings
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of departments in relation to
- established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resource Management, or a comparable discipline and at least 5 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR Certification preferred
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 5+ years of professional experience and knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, training and development, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Experience in Automotive Manufacturing
- Able to present slides to all levels from C-Suite to team members
- Excellent client management and business literacy skills with proven conflict management skills
- Understanding of diversity and unique challenges of multicultural workplace
- Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
- Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues
- Manage multiple conflicting priorities and Work in environment with international objectives
- Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively with clients.
- Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
- Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
- Technical skills: skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
