PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Manager, focusing on Compliance and Legal, is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s human resources practices align with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This role will be crucial in minimizing legal risks, promoting a compliant workplace culture, and supporting the overall HR strategy through developing, implementing, and monitoring HR compliance policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 6-10 years of experience in corporate-level Huma Resource Manager and related experience preferred
- People-oriented and result-driven
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Familiarity and experience with Federal and multiple state labor laws
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in collaborating with and serving various individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
- Project Management or related experience is a plus.
SKILLS
- Organization and Self-motivation: must be able to stay organized and self-motivated to meet company expectations and goals
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of change management principles and experience leading organizational transitional initiatives
- Holding any of the following credentials is highly desired: PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, and SHRM-SCP would be a plus.
- Experience working as an HR staff member during an organizational transition in which the company grew exponentially in the number of employees is a plus.
Salary
65,000 - 70,000 /year
