Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state labor laws, with a particular focus on California HR regulations.
• Regularly review and update company policies to stay compliant with federal and state labor laws.
• Leverage HR technology (HRIS, payroll systems, etc.) to enhance operational efficiency and employee experiences.
• Lead initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, boost employee engagement, and enhance retention.
• Provide guidance in performance management, training, and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with accounting and payroll teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct audits to maintain adherence to labor laws and payroll requirements across multiple states.

Qualifications:

• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with California labor laws and HR regulations.
• In-depth understanding of multi-state HR policies, labor laws, and payroll practices.
• Experience using HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and HR-related technologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive HR initiatives across all levels of the organization.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly preferred.
