Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:As a member of the Global HR MADO team, the HR MADO Project Manager role leads a dedicated team of HR professionals responsible for providing world-class subject matter expertise and project management for the operational HR integration in MADO deals.
This role directs and coordinates the HR activities for merger, acquisition, divestiture and outsourcing transactions regionally and globally.
This role partners closely with Corporate Development, Integration Management Office, HPE BU Leaders, HR Business Partners, HR COE teams, HPE Legal, and acquired company Executive Teams and HR to define the overall HR solution of a merger, acquisition, divestiture or outsourcing deal and successfully transition employees into or out of HPE within a set timeframe and budget.
On a merger or acquisition, the PM manages the end-to-end integration process including pre-deal consultation, HR due diligence, integration and retention strategy and planning, executive and key offer development and compliance with local employment regulations.
On a divestiture or outsourcing deal, the PM manages the end-to-end off-boarding process which includes supporting the Buyer’s due diligence, negotiation of employee terms and conditions, separation planning and compliance with local employment regulations.
As part of a global team, this role will be responsible for helping to develop and provide scalable, repeatable, and transferable processes, methodologies, quick start guides and tools to further evolve HPE’s HR MADO capabilities in line with deal volume and requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as point of contact on integration or off-boarding activities for MADO deals collaborating with Corporate Development, Integration Management Office, HPE BU Leaders, HR Business Partners, HR COE teams, and acquired company Executive Teams and HRProvide MADO HR expertise to the deal team, and to the HPE BU Leaders and HR Business Partners you are partnering with on the transaction.Develop and manage the project plan to execute due diligence and integration or off-boarding activities to achieve desired end state including transitioning staff to or from HPE total rewards programs and policiesMergers/Acquisitions: Lead HR due diligence activities; assess and analyze risk and identify recommendations for potential mitigation activities; prepare due diligence reportsDivestitures/Outsourcing: Support Buyer’s due diligence and hiring activities; communication planning; assess and analyze risk and identify recommendations for potential mitigation activitiesIdentify, coordinate, engage and hold accountable resources across HR and functional teams to facilitate and enable integration activities according to plan and deliverables.Develop and manage the integration or separation budget and costs Provide input for all employment related matters to SPA (or variation), disclosures, schedules and TSAs.Coordinate pre- and post-signing employment letters or termination notices Conduct HR retrospective at conclusion of dealEnsure internal and external compliance is maintainedQualifications5+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting Global Projects Working knowledge across HR functions and operations including the HR BU role, organizational development, talent management, compensation, benefits, HR systems, talent acquisition, mobility, immigration, policies, laws and regulationsStrong project management skillset including the ability to lead the planning and execution of complex projects requiring coordination of work across multiple stakeholders, negotiation, consensus building, problem resolution, prioritization skills and consistent demonstration of process improvement Must be able to think and act independently, be a self-starter and team playerAbility to build, nurture & influence partnerships across a global, matrixed organizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management including C-suite as well as the ability to advise, consult, challenge and influence others.
