Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional business leaders to assess staffing needs and coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Team to drive effective recruitment and retention.
- Manage daily HR operations, providing advice and support on company policies, procedures, and employee relations.
- Oversee various HR programs including leave administration, new employee orientations, and employee recognition programs.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues, anticipating problems and recommending solutions.
- Ensure HR practices align with business needs, making recommendations for improvements and ensuring consistent execution of programs and policies across regions.
- Assist with HR cyclical events such as goal setting, benefit enrollments, and performance evaluations.
- Provide ongoing HR support and coaching to managers, facilitating development initiatives to grow talent.
- Utilize data and insights to inform business decision-making and participate in Business Unit staff meetings.
- Complete special projects by clarifying objectives, conducting research, and organizing information.
- Train managers and employees on various HR and business-related skills and topics.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Proven success in recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel; experience with HRIS and custom report writing is essential.
- Ability to resolve complex issues independently and demonstrate strong business acumen.
- Experience in project management, planning, and organizing work assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to protect confidential information and maintain professional boundaries.
- Strong skills in reading, analyzing, and interpreting policies, procedures, and statistical data.
- Ability to develop HR templates and forms using MS Office/Adobe tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed, both in-state and out-of-state.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
