Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking an HR Generalist to add to our team at the headquarters office in the Clear Lake area, near NASA. We are a growing business in the crane rental industry and are looking for strong team players that are self-motivated to succeed!
Essential Responsibilities
Seeking local candidates to the Clear Lake area only. This position works in the office full-time.
Minimum Qualifications
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage payroll processing with HR Coordinator using ADP Workforce Now. Review weekly payroll for control & accuracy.
- Administer all employee benefits, using ADP Workforce Now. Ensure all new employees receive communication about benefits and are clear on how to enroll.
- Manage the monthly file feeds with all insurance carriers to ensure accurate enrollments and billing.
- Work with VP of HR to complete intake, investigation, and response for employee relations matters.
- Provide a high-level of support and internal service to employees by quickly and thoroughly resolving inquiries and issues for employees.
- Assist with annual open enrollment of company benefits.
- Advise managers and supervisors regarding employee relations, leave of absence, and personnel issues to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage all leaves of absences.
- Consult with Management regarding disciplinary action and separations.
- Manage compliance training initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Respond to all unemployment cases and applications. Ensure that tax rate remains as low as possible.
- Travel as needed for meetings, investigations, merger and acquisition activities, etc.
- Other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in employee relations matters required.
- Minimum 1 year experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now required.
- Prior experience processing payroll preferred, but not required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance required.
