JOB DESCRIPTION
The HR Generalist I position will focus on administrative tasks involving filing and maintaining employee records, assist with the recruiting of hourly positions, participate in employee engagement activities, will address routine employee questions and assist with a wide variety of other HR generalist activities.
Responsibilities
Coordinates calendars, appointments, schedules, meetings, and onsite interviews.
Assists in creating an employer brand in the community that will serve our intense recruiting needs over the next few years
Maintains high visibility to promote HR programs and assist management with effective facility wide communication
Provides continuous improvement of HR processes
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational ability, very well organized
Good judgment and ability to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and communication skills (written & verbal) are essential successful perform in this position
Works with integrity and respect displaying a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree required with a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting HR in a manufacturing/distribution or similar industry preferred.
HR Certification. a-PHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP a plus
HRIS experience in Workday a plus or other similar HRIS systems required.
MS Office skills Excel, Word and Teams a plus.
