About the Job
We have partnered with a well known construction company in the Tampa Bay area. They are seeking an HR Generalist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for weekly payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, record keeping, and staff reimbursement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Weekly preparation and processing of payroll
- Resolving any payroll issues
- Ensuring payroll goes out in a timely manner
- Processing Reimbursements
- Monitoring any promotions, transfers, and/or terminations
- Ensuring Account balances are correct
- Maintaining knowledge of HR Practices and procedures
- Filing tax documentation
- Managing onboarding
- Managing HR benefits offering
- Providing appropriate support to the staff and documentation
- Maintaining employees insurance plans
- Preparing weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports
- Assisting the Accounting Department as needed
- Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of HR and Payroll experience
- Must have knowledge of acceptable HR practices and procedures
- Must have knowledge of COBRA and FMLA
- Must have knowledge of benefits programs and options
- Must be capable of handling confidentiality
- Construction industry experience is a plus
Salary $60k- $70k
