About the Job
My client, in Shelton, has an immediate need to bring in an HR Generalist for at least 3 months. You will have enough experience to come in and support various functions within the department including payroll and benefit administration (under 50 employees), help with recruitment cycle including job positings, candiatee screenings, onboarding etc... You will be involved with employee relations and other daily projects to assist the department. Start next week!
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Coordinator.
- understanding of HR practices, benefits administration, payroll processing, and labor laws.
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
