HR Generalist - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist support a highly reputable Biotechnology company in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid Schedule)

Responsibilities for the HR Generalist

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across Benefits, HRIS, and other People systems.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientations, system setups, exit interviews, and COBRA administration.
• Act as a trusted resource, fostering strong internal and external relationships to enhance colleague experiences.
• Manage payroll and insurance documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Stay informed on market trends to continuously improve and align benefit offerings.

Qualifications for the HR Generalist

• 5+ years in People Team leadership roles focusing on Benefits, People Operations, Systems, Payroll
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across all organizational levels.
• Expertise in at least one core area: people operations, benefits, talent and performance management, or employee relations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience; SHRM-CP certification and Biotech/Pharma background preferred.

Compensation for the HR Generalist

• Salary Range is commensurate with experience
• Contract (with possible extension)
• Hybrid Work schedule
