$78,000 - $85,000 annually + Annual Bonus, PTO, 401K, Health, Dental, and Vison

As an HR Generalist / Payroll, you will be an integral part of a forward-thinking team, managing payroll for 200+ employees and supporting human resource functions that contribute to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Assist in recruiting efforts, including posting job ads, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes.
- Support employee relations, providing guidance on company policies and fostering a positive work environment.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently for a workforce of 200+ employees across multiple locations.
- Assist with managing compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring documentation and reporting requirements are met.
- Conduct training sessions and development programs to support workforce growth and advancement.
- Partner with HR team, management, and other internal departments to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Report directly to the HR Director and work alongside a team of 5 professionals in the Human Resources department.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and any HR policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources.
- 2 years of experience in payroll processing must have experience in both payroll and other HR responsibilities.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and HR software; familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and in any HRIS platforms.
