As the HR Manager, you will partner with the respective site leaders to improve organizational capability, drive change, define organizational needs, determine training & development needs, resolve employee issues, and contribute to the achievement of operating plan objectives. A successful candidate is a collaborative, proactive and analytical HR leader who can bring creative and practical solutions to the HR team, leaders, and local team members. This role needs a person with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of assessing situations and providing solutions that add value for the site. This is an on-site role requiring the willingness and ability to support of 2nd and 3rd shift team members as needed.

Accountable for:
- Consulting with functional leaders in areas such as organizational assessment, succession planning, organizational structure, work force planning, and change management in order to strengthen overall organizational capability.
- Ensuring alignment of HR processes i.e., compensation planning, Performance Management and development, business Reviews, etc. with strategic and operating goals, and managing said processes during relevant annual cycles.
- Coaching team members and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance and discipline in line with business culture and legal environment.
- Driving employee engagement and satisfaction through promotion of a positive team member experience.
- Ensuring effective talent management including recruitment, assessment and development as the organization grows. Assist managers in assessing and identifying resources to meet employee/departmental training needs and encouragement of employees to continuously develop their skills in their field of work.
- Application of relevant US, and state employment laws and other human resources compliance issues, as well as remaining current on these topics. Provide insight on necessary updates to existing policy structure.
- Expectation of interacting regularly with front line team members which may include walking and spending time on the floor, filling in for packers and inspectors when breaks need to be given, performing regular climate checks with team members, etc.
- Maintain and optimize site HR compliance protocol and practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of related experience in an HR role as the lead HR for a manufacturing client group and location.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, or other business-related or social science field
- Must model the highest degree of moral and ethical behavior
- Keeps commitments; exhibits candor and courage - is not afraid to establish a visible presence and point of view, to engage in spirited and constructive debate, to hold others accountable.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success translating business strategies into organizational and HR strategies and actions.
- Experience working successfully in a fast paced, autonomous environment with manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience supporting change management efforts.
- Desire for continual learning and personal development
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of seated work
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry
- Frequent time on the production floor is required - standing/walking/wearing PPE
