the job:
We are looking for a responsible and HR Generalist to work under the direction of a HRBP. You will assist the HRBP in managing and executing various special projects aimed at improving internal processes, enhancing employee experience, and strengthening management practices
location: remote (US only)
work type: part time contractor - 20+hrs per week
scope of work: HR special projects
what you'll do:
- Collaborate with HRBP and IT teams to design and build a user-friendly intranet.
- Ensure the intranet is populated with relevant, up-to-date information.
- Develop guidelines and best practices for maintaining the intranet.
- Review and revise current onboarding documents to ensure they are comprehensive and user-friendly.
- Create new onboarding materials as needed to reflect changes in policies and procedures.
- Develop a structured onboarding program specifically for new managers.
- Include essential information such as company policies, team management best practices, and leadership resources.
- Collaborate with HRBP to identify key training needs for managers across the organization.
- Design training modules on topics such as leadership, performance management, and team development.
- Collaborate with HRBP and Legal to create a standardized process for managing contractors, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Develop onboarding checklists, resources and best practices
- Review and update the current employee handbook to reflect the latest company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HRBP to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in building out comprehensive training programs for both managers and employees.
- Develop learning materials and resources to support continuous professional development.
- Work with HRBP to ensure training content is relevant and effective.
must haves:
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in HR
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving results
