Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team for ongoing and project-based assignments.
- Communicate and clarify company-related policies and procedures to employees. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain training and compliance systems used both internally and externally. Track and report on activities as needed.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and department metrics including, but not limited to, EEO and Affirmative Action, and fulfill ad-hoc and audit requests. Prepares and administers various form processing to support employment actions including, but not limited to, PHR and discontinuation notices.
- Support the HR Business Partner and Staffing Manager in maintaining corporate policies, user guides, presentations, and other documentation, including updating the HR-related Intranet pages.
- Serve as an HR resource to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and HR systems. Assist in communicating programs and systems to employees and in developing user guidelines and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field; or at least four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR or SHRM CP certification is preferred.
- 2 years' experience in Human Resources generalist or recruiting experience.
- 2 years' experience with applicant Tracking Systems, Performance Management Systems, or Learning Management Systems experience.
- General knowledge of Human Resources programs and functions
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to HR, including wage and hour
- Excellent Excel Skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to implement HR-related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth daily HR operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain effective and positive business relationships with all levels of staff and to work in a team environment.
- Data-driven individual with strong data analysis, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.
