The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day HR operations specific to our Care Indeed Home Care and Home Health Care. The successful candidate will comprehensively understand HR functions and have experience in the home care healthcare sector. Your role will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, talent management, supporting operations, and ensuring thorough investigation and resolution of employee cases. Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (like SHRM-CP) would be a plus.
- SHRM Certification preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in the home care or healthcare industry.
IV. Work Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM; days may be flexible based on the need
V. Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and systems.
- Handle the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Support operations by facilitating effective communication between management and employees, assisting in workflow design, and suggesting improvements to processes and procedures.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and
- objective investigations when needed.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Participate in HR projects such as implementing new HR software, developing employee engagement initiatives, or designing an HR Related program, training.
- Maintained employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures to staff and management.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
- Manage training and development plans.
- Oversee employee benefits programs.
- Coordinate with management on workforce planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure all practices are in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements related to personnel.
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.
